Throughout the year, the learners at The Wharncliffe Restaurant showcase their learning and talents by hosting and cooking for special ‘event’ nights. These ‘tasting menu’ events are usually booked 2-3 weeks in advance and are only £29 per head. Learners welcome, look after and serve guests, as well as cook for them under the watchful eye of kitchen and dining room staff.

Past events range from Burns Night to a Coronation Special, from British Game Night to Seafood Night and from Italian Night to French Night among others.

Rotherham College has a number of shows throughout the year and The Wharncliffe can offer pre-theatre dining for these.
Not only that, The Wharncliffe has an exciting partnership with Rotherham Theatres to bring you a brilliant offer to help better your experience when visiting the Civic Theatre for one of their shows. When booked with the theatre, The Wharncliffe is able to offer a menu of two courses and a hot drink for the special price of £17.
