Throughout the year, the learners at The Wharncliffe Restaurant showcase their learning and talents by hosting and cooking for special ‘event’ nights. These ‘tasting menu’ events are usually booked 2-3 weeks in advance and only £29 per head. Learners welcome, look after and service guests as well as cooking for them under the watchful eye of kitchen and dining room staff.

In 2022/2023 events ranged from Burns Night to a Coronation Special, from British Game Night to Seafood Night and from Italian Night to French Night among others.

Rotherham College has a number of shows throughout the year and The Wharncliffe can offer pre-theatre dining for these.
Not only that, The Wharncliffe has an exciting partnership with Rotherham Theatres to bring you a brilliant offer to help better your experience when visiting the Civic Theatre for one of their shows. The Wharncliffe is able to offer a menu of two courses for £17.
Lunch at The Wharncliffe is a real treat and with three courses for under £10, a great way to look after clients, treat a loved one or friends or enjoy lunch with colleagues. Why not visit our Rotherham Salon for some pampering, and then come along and enjoy lunch at the Wharncliffe?
Lunch is available on Thursday and Friday each week between 12 – 2pm.
