Innovate S81 Achieves Level 4 Aesthetic Accreditation

Raising the bar for beauty education, Innovate S81 Hair and Beauty Salon (part of RNN Group) is now one of two providers nationally approved to deliver Level 4 Aesthetic courses.

Feedback from External Quality Assurers (EQA) praised the newly developed aesthetic suite, highlighting meticulous alignment with industry needs and a professionally designed clinical environment.

Brand new facilities

Operating under North Notts College, Innovate S81 seamlessly integrates practical learning with indulgent treatments. Launched earlier this year, new facilities include modern nail bars, massage suites, beauty parlours, and fully equipped hair studios.

Each area is designed to reflect current industry standards, ensuring learners are prepared for whatever discipline they choose.

Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments

Arriving at a pivotal time, the Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Treatments prepares students for upcoming government regulations. Under the proposed changes, practitioners will be required to hold qualifications to legally perform procedures such as skin needling, chemical peels, and dermaplaning. 

Karen Connolle, Curriculum Manager for Hair and Beauty at North Notts College, commented:

“This accreditation is a huge milestone, and we’re proud to be among the first in the country to offer it. With new regulations on the horizon, our course ensures learners gain the qualifications they’ll need to operate safely and legally in the aesthetics industry.”

Open to adults aged 19+ who already hold Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications, the course is built around nationally recognised standards. Core units cover advanced skin science, investigative consultation, and industry ethics.

Learners can also specialise in areas like skin needling, skin peeling, and dermaplaning through optional units. 

Rent a chair

Graduates can further their careers through the rent a chair scheme, which offers qualified practitioners affordable access to a fully equipped salon space.

Starting at £25 per day for six weeks, renters benefit from professional facilities, ongoing support, exclusive masterclasses, plus access to wholesale products from Wella and Dermalogica.
